v1.2
July 28, 2026
New Features
Revamped Delay
- Completely replaced with a newly developed stereo delay. You can set Wet / Feedback / Time (10ms–5000ms). Increasing Feedback adds analog-style saturation. We also reduced noise when changing Time.
Revamped Reverb
- Completely replaced with a newly developed reverb. You can switch between three types—Room / Plate / Shimmer—and fine-tune space and decay with Wet / Size / Time. Shimmer is a bright, expansive ambient sound with boosted highs.
Added Flutter
- Added a new Flutter knob to the Drive section. It adds tape-machine-like wow flutter (pitch wobble); the higher the value, the deeper the wobble.
Redesigned the MicroLoop engine
- Rebuilt the loop playback engine as a dedicated audio unit to reduce click noise at loop boundaries. Time is now displayed in ms (10ms–5000ms).
Enhanced the sample filter
- Integrated the HI / LO / BAND / COMB filters into a new engine, making changes smooth even during fast Cutoff / Q modulation.
Revamped Drive
- Replaced with a newly developed Drive, so the amount of distortion now changes smoothly without noise even during fast knob moves or modulation.
Upgrade feature for legacy presets
- Presets created in v1.1 or earlier will play back with the previous Delay / Reverb sound. Use the `Upgrade` button on the panel to migrate Delay / Reverb to the new engine individually (settings are mapped automatically).
Expanded MIDI assign targets
- You can now MIDI Learn / assign Flutter and each parameter of the new Delay / Reverb.
Expanded modulation targets
- You can now set Flutter and the new effect parameters as modulation targets.
Added 4 themes
- Added “Sunset”, “Candy”, “Aurora”, and “Water” under Settings Appearance.
Layout improvements
- When using the new effects, the Master section is now displayed in a two-column layout alongside the right side of the Spectrum Analyzer.
Improved preset safety
- Presets now store the version they were created with. If you open a preset made with a newer version than the one you’re using, a warning with version info is shown and the operation is safely aborted.
Updated the manual
- Added a guideline for memory usage when loading samples.
Main Fixes
Noise / audio dropouts
- Fixed an issue where pop noise could occur during window operations (toggling fullscreen, switching apps, right after saving a recording, etc.).
- Fixed an issue where noise could occur when adjusting Filter Cutoff or during modulation.
- Fixed an issue where noise could occur when adjusting Samples > Sample Pitch.
- Fixed an issue where noise could occur when changing per-Voice pitch or MicroLoop pitch.
- Fixed an issue where noise could occur during fast Drive knob moves or modulation.
- Fixed an issue where the Voice Timer playback interval could become inaccurate around ~50ms.
Stability
- Fixed an issue where repeatedly muting Voices could cause the app to crash.
- Fixed an issue where loading another sample during playback could prevent the sound from switching, stop the playhead, and eventually crash when repeated.
- Fixed an issue where the audio graph could restart when waking from sleep or while audio was stopped.
Display / rendering
- Fixed an issue where animations such as the Voice progress bar and spectrum display could stop or stutter while dragging a knob.
- Fixed an issue where background gradients (e.g., Aurora) could stutter during knob operations.
- Fixed an issue where a white background could briefly appear on launch, and an issue where the window could briefly look like it shrank.
- Fixed an issue where the background color right after launch didn’t match the theme.
- Fixed an issue where the playback position bar didn’t follow when changing Sample Pitch / Voice Pitch.
- Fixed an issue where the playback position bar could gradually drift between Voices during loop playback.
- Fixed the playback position display when changing the playback range (slice).
- Fixed the waveform progress display when Random Range is enabled.
Behavior
- Fixed an issue where MicroLoop might not work in the state immediately after launch.
- Fixed an issue where Density modulation wasn’t reflected in the trigger rate of Random triggers.
- Fixed an issue where operating another knob during modulation could write back the in-motion value to the engine.
- Fixed an issue where changing/removing a modulation target wouldn’t correctly restore the original parameter value.
- Fixed an issue where the global pitch setting could be applied twice on MIDI note-on / pitch bend.
- Fixed an issue where value mapping near the maximum of the Voice Timer wasn’t correct.
Files / security
- Fixed an issue where, when opening a preset and saving as a new name, the original sample files wouldn’t be copied in “Keep Original Files” mode and would be converted to WAV instead.
- Strengthened validation for preset files received from external sources (rejecting invalid file references, preventing excessive volume via range checks on settings, etc.).
